Company Information - About Us

Youth Arts Leicestershire is a registered charity that has
provided arts opportunities for young people in
Leicestershire for 13 years.

The emphasis of our projects is to complement the personal
and social development of young people. We believe in the
benefits of focused drama work as an accessible route to
personal achievement.

All projects are run by qualified and experienced staff with
CRB clearance - many of whom were once participants
themselves!

Products & Services

Our focus is on the educational benefits of drama and as a
result we wish to work with all young people, regardless of
experience or skill level, whether or not they wish to pursue
the Arts as a career.
We have specific projects suitable for young people aged between
5-25.
These projects run after school, weekends and parallel to the school holidays.

Geographical Area

The majority of Youth Arts projects take place at Fearon Hall,
Loughborough, unless otherwise stated. We have a
professional theatre space, fully equipped with lighting,
seating and staging.

Junior (7 - 12 years of age) Youth Theatre Projects also take place in Countesthorpe, Leicester.

Joint (8 - 25 years of age) Musical Projects perform in numerous venues throughout Leicestershire including Phoenix Arts, Leicester and Loughborough town Hall.
